BQ76952: Automatic operation of DDSG/DCHG depending on LOAD/Charger

Hi,

I am using DCHG and DDSG to drive low side FETs.

Are DCHG and DDSG enabled or disabled automatically according to LOAD/Charger detection at AFE end or do we need to implement it with the help of exetrnal MCU by reading data from AFE and then sending back commands to actuate DCHG/DDSG?

Another question is whether CHG/DSG also work automatically, because right now I have been testing these pins with the help of BQStudio by actuating them by commands.

Hi Anurag,

The DCHG, DDSG, CHG, DSG pins can all be controlled automatically by the device. They can also be controlled by the host or even a combination of both.
