TPS53647: Pre-configuration thru pinstrap or NVM

Hi, 

Could you check my understanding? I'm wondering TPS53647 can operate even before PMBus programming. From the DS, I believe several configurations can be programmed thru NVM, but still PMBus programming is required for this device to operate. But I believe it can operate only with pinstrap, without PMBus programming. Is my understanding correct? Thank you!

    Yes. You can add a resistor on SKIP-NVM to GND of less than 20kohm to use pinstrap. 

    Please check pg 35 of the datasheet for the default value of settings which are not controlled by pinstrapping. These can only be changed through NVM.
