We have a customer who got two questions concerning the selection of the TVS-diode for 24V battery systems.
In the datasheet of LM741-Q1 it says that it is recommended to use SMBJ28A and SMBJ58A, but in the User's Guide of the Evaluation Module (SLVUBU5) it says that it is recommended to use SMBJ24A and SMBJ58A. Can he use either SMBJ24A and SMBJ28A?
Furthermore it says in the User's Guide that D2 (the diode at the output) needs to be removed for 24V battery protection. Should it be completely removed or Is there a recommendation on which kind of diode should be used instead as a replacement?
