Hello,
There is a symptom shown charging voltage of BQ24780S could has spike voltage(not every time) when battery full charged.
The following scoped waveforms are, CH1 charging voltage; CH4 charging current.
After zoom in the waveform, the current is turn-off first, than voltage rising.
However, we are afraid that spike voltage could damage battery if charging MOSFET inside the gauge board turn-off slow than the spike voltage.
Is any modification could fix the spike?
