Hi TI expert,
When setting the switching frequency higher than1.2 MHz, TI recommends using an external synchronous clock as the switching frequency to ensure that the pulse-skipping function works at a lightload.
Should I consider iternal oscillator's tolerance to avoid pulse-skipping mode failure?
E.g. R(freq)=40k sets frequency to 1140 kHz and it seems to be OK. But datasheet says that with such R(freq) value frequency may reach 1480 kHz. Does it mean that with R(freq)=40k and no external sync clock pulse skipping may not work?
Thanks.
