Hi All,

I can't get rid of the error with GPC.

The battery is Panasonic CR123A. Chem ID uses 0616.

Error message is here.

The following errors were reported by the calculation engine:
Error: Ra table could not be extracted from GG file.
Make sure that chem ID was freshly programmed and no learning took place.
Flags ff55 or ffff should be present 0

Please give me some advice to get rid of this error message.

  • Hello,

The GPCCHEM tool is not recommended for a primary battery. If you are using the bq35100 it is best to use the exact battery cell as the chemistry ID does.

You will most likely get many errors when trying to get a chem ID for a primary cell.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller

  • Hello,

Thank you for your valuable advice.

If primary battery are not recommended as a GPC tool, could you please tell me another good way?

Is it necessary to change the remaining amount measurement mode of BQ35100?

    Regards.

    Katsuhiro Otsuka.

  • Hello Katsuhiro,

For the bq35100 we recommend you use the same battery as is specified in the chemistry ID. There is no tool to do any matching, check the name and ID number of your battery and match it to one in the database.

    Sincerely,

    Wyatt Keller
