I am evaluating TPS65987 EVM board and and USB-C-PD-DUO EVM I bought from TI, and I do follow online video training and manual, but I observed the symptom as below which is not the assume as the out of box demo as the video interprets:
I provide power to DC jack to treat TPS65987 as source, then connected to the sink board on the type C connector, based on the manual, the default is set to 15V sink, pushing the 15V switch button on sink board, I don't see the LED turns on, but when I push 5V switch button, the LED of 15V, 9V and 5V all turns on on the sink board. Basically, if I push switch button of 9v, 15V and 20V, one by one, no any LED turns on. Meanwhile, I don't see any source LED (D22 - D25) on TPS65987 EVM turns on for whatever I did on the sink board. Is there anything wrong with the out-of-box boards I bought?
