BQ20Z655-R1: accuracy over temperature

Hi Experts,

I could not find in the datasheet a specification about the internal temperature sensor accuracy. What accuracy can we expect here?

For a temperature calibration I can only see the option to calibrate the device for a operating temperature point of the application. Is there also a way to improve the accuracy with a calibration across an temperature range, 20 - 80C?

It is tough to specify internal temperature sensor accuracy.

Can you clarify your question on how this will benefit a particular end application?

Hi Kang Kang,

the sensor is used also for safety, to shutdown the charging in case the pack gets to hot. it might be important if you have to deal with +/- 5C or +/-10C.

Hello Simon,

I recommend using the NTC for this part instead of the on-board temperature sensor.
