BQ27441-G1: Learning cycle and golden image generation in bqstudio

Hello,

I'm performing the learning cycle for the Fuel Gauge IC BQ27441-G1 by setting the design capacity, chrg current, dischg current, termination current and the termination voltage. I observe that as soon as I start the learning cycle, the status immediately jumps to the discharge state even if the battery voltage is around 3.6V. I'm using a new Li-Po battery.

Please suggest means to resolve this issue and any additional steps necessary to be carry out the learning.

This is correct. If you are starting a learning cycle you will want to discharge first.

Thank you for reverting.

In this case, will it go to the charging state once the discharging cycle is complete?
Or, will the learning cycle be complete as soon as the discharging is complete?
