Hi team,

my customer measure gain/phase performance and gain margin and phase margin can pass with Cff=6.8pF

Below is their bode-plot result, and can you explain why there is rapidly drop then jump waveform around 300k~400kHz?

Is there any side effect here?

Hi Paul,

I'm not sure the cause of sudden drop of the phase plot. It is possible that an external noise was injected during measurement causing the unstable plot. You can share to your customer the attached app note on how to properly measure the loop transfer function so they can re-check their setup.

I don't see any concern with the schematic diagram especially with 6.8pF feedforward capacitor because it should work in most application.
