TPS53319: About the minimum value of OCP

Part Number: TPS53319

Hi,

In the customer board, there was a problem that overcurrent protection occurred at a current lower than the set OCP.

Customer uses the following formula.
When estimating the OCP minimum, can you tell me each number to substitute?
Or Could you tell me how to calculate the minimum OCP value?

And Could you tell me Min and Max of Itrip?
They need that information to estimate the minimum OCP value.

Best Regards,
Yusuke

The current source has a +/- 10% tolerance at 25C and - 4000ppm/C temperature coefficient.

The full tolerance, including Rdson and current source trim is provided in the datasheet, the total tolerance is about +/- 18% of the nominal value, excluding inductor tolerances.

Since the TPS53319 uses off-time valley current sensing for over-current, the ripple on the inductor current affects the current limit setting.  To account for this for the minimum OCP setting, select the maximum frequency and maximum inductance, which will produce the least ripple current and thus the lowest DC over current.
