LMR33620: Low-side current limit <2A

Part Number: LMR33620

Hi,

*1.
According to the datasheet P.7 on LMR33620, Min Low-side current limit is 1.95mA. My customer considers LM33620 on 5V@max1.6-1.7A output.

10uH is recommended in the data sheet, but considering the ripple current of the coil, it exceeds 1.95A, and I think that the low-side current limit will be applied.
Why is the current limit set to 1.95A (<2A)? In other words, can LMR33620 output 2A?   Please advise us.

*2.
What do you mean on the following foot note of datasheet P.7?  Under normal usage, does the current limit never apply even if 2A flows to the Low-side?

(3) The current limit values in this table are tested, open loop, in production. They may differ from those found in a closed loop application.

Please let me know.

Thanks and best regards,
M.HATTORI.
