TPS23756: Looking for a 24V output PoE

Part Number: TPS23756
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS23754,

Hi,

I am looking for a PoE controller that can power a few 24V Current Loop transmitters.

Most of the devices seem to support only 5V or 3.3V ?

Are there any devices that supports 24V output ?

Thanks,

Manu

  • Hello,

You could use the TPS23756 in the PMP2230 (or you could use the TPS23754).

For the list of available reference designs, please see our reference design library, and type the requirements you need (24Vout)

  • Hi Michael,

Thanks for the info. PMP2230 is almost what I am looking for.

The only caveat is that the main transformer 750318587 is either an incorrect number

as described in the BOM, Schematic, or it does not show up in Google searches,

nor on the Wurth site, nor with any distributor.

Can you please check the availability of the transformer,

or whether the part number is incorrect ?

    Thanks a bunch,

    Manu

  • Hello,

It does not show up on a Google search or Wurth's website because we, TI, asked Wurth to specifically design this transformer for this project.

If you work with your contacts at Wurth, they can send you more information on it.

  • Hi,

    Oh!

Can we get this transformer from TI ?

I have no contacts at Wurth. Can you point me to the relevant person ?

    Thanks,

    Manu

  • Hello,

No, we do not manufacture or stock transformers. We defined the specifications.

You can contact the Wurth team here:
