My's name is Chien, I have some problems with your BQ34z110 product, The problem's code: The battery capacity is wrong!
My application is Lead Acid Battery pack (24V 75Ah): 2 Battery (12V 75Ah).
When I discharge from 100% capacity (remaining capacity/full charge Capacity: 6940/6940; Voltage: 26.4V) at 3A untill empty (Voltage: 20.2V). Allow the battery to relax, and i read bq34z110 (Voltage 22.4V, remaining capacity/full charge Capacity: 3147/6941; SOC: 46%). And i reset BQ34z110 (power off and on), then I read bq34z110 again (Voltage 22.4V, remaining capacity/full charge Capacity: 770/6952; SOC: 12%). Full available capacity: 7316mAh.
The same thing happens when I charge the battery.
I also changed the Chem ID (8 ID of battery Lead acid) but the situation is the same.
My configuration:
+Qmax Cell 0: 7500 mAh (scale x10)
+Design Cell Capacity: 7500 mAh
+Design Cell Energy: 1500 mWh
+Design Cell Voltage: 2000mV.
+Number of Serious Cells: 12
+Design Energy Scale: 10.
+I Calibrated Voltage and Current (= Actual Current /10).
2 problem: Why there was a miscalculation? There is a big data change when I reset bq34z110.
I want to know how to calculate the full charge capacity (6940mAh) and Full available capacity (7316mAh). Why not 7500, Is it due to battery life?
