Dear TI,
I am reading and rereading the difficult and complicated TPS546D24A datasheet and I cannot see how to convert resistor divider values into resistor codes. There is also the difficult and complicated Pinstrap Calculator spreadsheet, which gives me error messages and also does not agree with the WEBENCH-designed circuit.
I need to know how to select resistor values based on resistor codes. I also want to be able to verify the values generated by WEBENCH.
In any case, TI seems to not recommend using the resistor dividers and instead relying on programming. My output is below 600 mV, so the controller will need to be programmed anyway. If I configure the TPS546D24A entirely be programming, then what do I do with the MESL and VSEL inputs? (I probably still need to pinstrap ADRSEL.)
My design is stopped until I can answer these questions, so any help is appreciated! Thank you.
