TPS745: How to connect an unused PG pin?

Hello team,

If the PGOOD pin is not being used externally, can it be left floating or tied to ground, or does the IC use the voltage on the PG pin to change some other functional setting, and thus need to be pulled up to an external supply voltage through a resistance?

Hi Peter,

It's an open drain output and is not monitored internally. It does not need to be connected to anything, but if you aren't going to use it then tying it to GND can reduce stray charge buildup while at the same time aid in some additional thermal relief of the component.
