Hi,
I want to check to see if LP5562 would be a good replacement for PCA9632. This is for a LCD backlight application.
Thanks

Hi Kelvin,
sorry for not replaying in timely.
LP5562 | PCA9632 |
Each output programmable | Each output programmable |
400kHz Fast-mode Plus I2C-bus interface | 1 MHz Fast-mode Plus I2C-bus interface |
25.5 mA high drive capability | 30 mA high drive capability |
With 8-Bit Current Setting (From 0 mA to 25.5 mA |
(6-bit) linear programmable brightness for each LED output 8-bit resolution (256 steps) in Individual brightness control mode |
Operating power supply voltage range of 2.7 V to 5.5 V |
Operating power supply voltage range of 2.3 V to 5.5 V |
comparing LP5562 with PCA9632, the LP5562 can replace PCA9632 well. And LP5562 Brightness adjustment is either linear or logarithmic. By using logarithmic scale the visual effect seems linear to the eye. the program functions of LP5562 is more diversity.
