Hi Sir

Our product used BQ27750 right now. Could you help explain some problem about memory corruption bug

1. Please provide a more detailed explanation and evaluation of the "probability" for this BUG and the "possible" trigger condition.

2. The protection of the lithium battery behaved normal when the memory crashe?

3. When memory corruption bug trigger, BQ27750 all function will shut down or partial function failure ?

Hello Mike,

1. The probability is hard to measure. We did multiple tests, but this is dependent on if you trigger it. The probability is non-zero for even a first time boot, though it is very small.

2. The chip will be non-responsive. If IC cannot wake from shutdown, system cannot power up.

3. It could be shutdown, it could be FW not loaded.

1. I haven't got the documents you mentioned since I had provided my mail, please help.

2. We have produced with BQ27750 and had 3.4ku on board remained, but our CTM refused to accepts these stocks due to this crash error information released on the EOL letter, can we return these 3.4ku on board IC to TI?
