BQ24295: About charging current

Part Number: BQ24295

The lower limit current for CC charging is 512mA (REG02.ICHG), but can it be 150mA by setting the input current limit to REG00.IINLIM = 0b001?
Or is it amplified inside the IC and the lower limit of 512mA is maintained?

  • Hi,

    Please use REG02[0].

    8.3.3.4.1 Termination

When REG02[0] = 1 When REG02[0] is HIGH to reduce the charging current by 80%, the charging current could be less than the termination current. The charger device termination function should be disabled. When the battery is charged to fully capacity, the host disables charging through CE pin or REG01[5:4].

    Thanks,

    Ning.
