UCC23514: Competitor device

Part Number: UCC23514
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UCC23513

Hi all

Would you mind if we ask UCC23514?

We assume that UCC23514 is developed to replace for other devices.
So, if you have sales promotion documents, could you share us it?
(Because, we don't recognize or use case between UCC23513 and UCC23514.)

If you contain confidential content, could you send us directly?
E-mail address : matsumoto-h@macnica.co.jp

Kind regards,

  • Hi Matsumoto-san, Thanks very much for your questions.

Yes, your understanding is correct. May I know which kind of information you are most interested in?

In regards to the difference and use cases between UCC23513 and UCC23514. Here are some key differences for your information.

UCC23514 is in a 8pin DWV package with 5kVrms iso rating and >8.5mm CLR/CPG - 4-A Source, 5-A Sink, Opto-Compatible Single Channel Isolated Gate Drivers, since it has 8pin, 4 on each side, it offers different feature spins including miller clamp, split output, single output and UVLO referenced to Emitter.

UCC23513 is in a 6pin stretched SO-6 with 5.7kVrms iso rating and >8.5mm CLR/CPG - 4-A Source, 5-A Sink, Opto-Compatible Single Channel Isolated Gate Driver, since it only has 3 pin on one side, there are no other feature spin options for this part.

They belongs to the same family and most other features are the same, like UVLO and peak current, etc.

    Wish it helps you.

    Best,

    Wei

Thank you so much for your reply!

May I know which kind of information you are most interested in?
->We are interested in comparison between TI's one and competitor's one(AVAGO, Toshiba).
For example TI's one has pin compatible with competitor's one,,, superior electric character,,,
If it contains confidential things, is it possbible to send private message?

    Kind regards,
