TPS61322: TPS613221A question

Part Number: TPS61322

Hi expert,

Customer would like to know what are the internal feedback resistors? They want to calculate the leakage current when boost is off but Vo still have voltage condition.

Thanks,

Allan

  • Hello Allan,

These resistors are normally in the Mohm range, but the exact value is process dependent and varies somewhat. In addition, the question is if the resistors are still connected to the output when the IC is disabled. Due to national holiday in China the experts for this device are not available until end of the week, so please give us time until beginning of next week to come back to you.

  • Hi Allan,

this device can't be disabled. do you want to calculate the no load input current or you like me to suggest another device with disable function.

  • Hi Expert,

    Thank you for your reply.

I have more question would like to check, please help to check below questions.

    1. Please still provide me the resistance data, because I need to debug my current consumption on existing board.
    2. Yes, please provide the “disable” device and it’s better pin-to-pin to TPS613221.

  • Hi BoXian,

I have a phone call to discuss this issue with Allen yesterday. the current consumption into the VOUT pin is 6.5uA which includes the feedback resistor current. you can use this current to calculate the input current : VOUT*6.5u/ (VIN*Eff)

    2. there is no pin-pin device. customer can add a p-fet in series with battery to shutdown the IC
