LM5067: Vin transient issue

Part Number: LM5067

Hello,

My customer is designing hotswap circuit using LM5067 for Vin=-60V to -40V and Iout = 2A.

Their circuit diagram is as follows.

They tested Vin rising/falling transient, Vin = -60V to -40V and Vin = -40V to -60V.

Then, Vout goes down to 0V as soon as the Vin transient and it does not recover at all. (Please refer to the attached xls file.)

What causes this issue? How can they prevent this?

(They confirmed that the issue is disappears By adding a schottky barrier diode at Vin in series, since they would not like any Vin drop, they would like to alternative workaround to have no Vin drop.)
