LP5036: Maximum Error Across Multiple Devices

Part Number: LP5036

Hello,

I'm looking at the following lines in the datasheet EC table:

Given two devices in a system, what is the maximum current error I could see between any two LEDs?    Is it possible for two channels on separate devices to have a compounding error (i.e. +/-10%)?

If we then assume that both devices are operating at the same junction temperature, does this error reduce?   If so, to what?

  • Hi Schelle,

    For Q1:

Yes. the most worst situation is that the maximum current error between two device is up to +/-10%.

    For Q2:

this error include the worst operation current error. it is affected by many factors. we can't guarantee that the error reduce in the same junction temperature.
