BQ28Z610: Some battery will be not activated when sleep or shut down mode.

We have a case use the BQ28Z610. In our DVT sample. we found that some battery can not charge and discharge. Which means it can't be activated. We connect the batteries to Battery Management Studio, we found that some battery PF is set. After we clean the PF, the battery be normal.

Let battery into shout down mode(send shout down command to gauge). About 4 to 5% battery will be not charge.

Hello User,

4 to 5% seem to be quite large.

Can you provide scope waveforms for this?

Send into shutdown, then apply pack voltage and measure cell/pack voltage and check DSG and CHG pins to GND.
