TPS929120-Q1: TPS929120-Q1 connect to CAN transceiver

Dear Teams,

Here is some additional questions from customer:

1. Which protocol of TPS929120-Q1 used? UART or CAN protocol? Based on the datasheet 7.5.1.2, it has mentioned that UART interface address setting. However, the typical application used industrial standard CAN transceiver. So, which protocol customer should follow? 

2. Do we have demo software for customer to run the application when they used? What I found on TI.com, it has an evaluation software showing in the following picture. So, could customer used this GUI SW to evaluate if they don't used TI's TPS929120EVM?

Hi Dylan,

The protocol used in TPS929120 is flexwire and it's a UART protocol. If customer use CAN communication in off-board application, they have to transform CAN to UART with CAN transceiver.
