Hello,
I am looking at using the TPS2121 to switch between a DC source and a battery. When power drops out to the DC source I want the TPS2121 to switch over to a battery that is connected to one of the inputs of the 2121.
The problem I am having is with the amount of current consumed by the suggested series resistor values to set PR1, CP2, etc. The data sheet does not provide a spec on the maximum allowed resistance that can be used for the series resistor strings to allow for not draining the battery.
The spec sheet does list the maximum leakage current at +/- 0.1uA which seems to me to be very small and would pose a small error if one were to use a 50 - 100K instead of a 5k for the first resistor.
Here is the leakage spec from the TPS2121 data sheet for the associated pins.
Thank you for any help you can provide.
