BQ76920: Junk ADC Value

Hi TI Team,

I am using BQ7692006PW IC in my project. Internal ADC of current showing junk value after every 10-20 readings, when no current is flowing.

We can see in below picture it reports +867 and -867 adc value.

Please suggest the solution.

Hi Pushpender,

This is not normal behavior for the device. Can you tell me how you are doing the readings - are you waiting for the ALERT pin to indicate to the host that a new measurement is ready or are you reading at a fixed time interval? Maybe you can try adjusting the timing of the measurement.

Hi Matt,

Earlier I was reading at a fixed time interval. Now, I have changed the logic and wait for ALERT pin and CC_READY bit. I'll let you know if same issue is observed in future.
