BQ25606: STOP charge above30 degree C?

Hi team,

My customer is using BQ25606, and the data sheet display that the normal operation temperature is 0°~60°.

The problem is how to set the normal operation temperature around 0°~30° or customized, and what the corresponding "VTX" is?

Hi,

For RT1 and RT2 calculation tool, please refer to http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/slurax7 and plug in the specified design information accordingly. Although it was developed for the BQ2589x, the principle is similar and can be used for BQ25606 with minor changes.

The problem is if the normal operation temperature can be set to 0°~30° by customer, rather than 0°~60° identified in datasheet?

Hi,

Please plug in your thermistor info @0C and 30C into the excel calculator mentioned earlier. If RT1 and RT2 calculated are valid, the design should work.

Please double-check the actual protection temperature range on the boards.
