TLV62569A: High Duty Cycle Low Dropout Operation

What is the DCR of the inductor used? Please look for this parameter and calculate using the above equation. If it satisfies the condition, then the output will be regulated properly. (Typically, inductor should be chosen as per the d/s specifications)

The DCR of inductor can be chosen as low as 100mohm reported by customer. And update customer's requirements here:

Vin= 3.45~4.2V(1-cell battery), Vout= 3.3V, Iout= 1.0A continuous.

So it seems Vinmin= 3.3+1*(100m+100m)=3.5(V). It's not okay, right? Need your comments and judgements.

Two more questions:

1) Has TLV62569A ever been used in 1-cell battery in situation?

2) Do you have any other recommendation except TLV62569A that can meet this requirement?

You might have already noticed that, the DCR of the inductor used in the typical application examples in the d/s, is much lower.

Also, with the above mentioned conditions you will not be able to satisfy the min Vin condition.

1) For 100% duty cycle operation and with the listed conditions, TLV62569A would be challenging. 

2) Will you be able to share some more details on customer, time line, etc. 

We have a new device lined up for APL next week and it would be a good choice for this Application. TPS62826A, 2A forced PWM version of TPS6282x family. 

If you wish we can take this internal and discuss further.
