Hello Charles,
With a 1200V input range you most likely will be driving SiC FETs. The FAN device can drive 18V. The UCC28740 can only drive 14 V and cannot fully engage the SiC FET.
For driving SiC flyback converts the UCC28C4x can drive 18V and seems to be a popular choice for driving SiC FEts.
Regards,
Mike
Hi Mike,
If the customer do not use SiC FETs. Which device is the best one to compete with FAN device? Thanks.
