Hi team，

I want to penetrate UCC28740 to compete with FAN6605MX, it this the best to penetrate in 1200V to 24V application? The customer cares about standby power. Thanks.

Hello Charles,

With a 1200V input range you most likely will be driving SiC FETs. The FAN device can drive 18V. The UCC28740 can only drive 14 V and cannot fully engage the SiC FET.

For driving SiC flyback converts the UCC28C4x can drive 18V and seems to be a popular choice for driving SiC FEts.

Hello Charles,

The FAN6605 is a fixed frequency peak current mode controller. The closest thing we have to it is the UCC28C4x devices.
