BQ40Z50-R2: How to setup charging 90% ?

Hi,

I'm using BQ40Z50-R2.

Is there any way to charge Li-Ion Battery only 90% ? It is for protect the battery.

What parameter should I change to do this?

Hi Chul,

This can be configured through the Cell Overvoltage (COV) in the protections. PLease refer to the TRM:

Also note that you should choose a charger that will enter CV mode at the desired cutoff.

You should also change the FC/TC values within gas gauging.
