bq24170 operating when batterry removed

Hi All,

Can bq24170 regulate output to system when batterry removed? with Integrated Power Path Management Battery Charger, system can operate with battery deeply depleted or removed, I not sure it can regulate output to system or not.

If you apply the power-path as following circuit. System will continue to get power from input through Q1/Q2 no matter battery is there or not.

How about the power-path performance at one cell deep discharged bettery condition(around 3.2V battery voltage)?

When inserting or pulling out adapter, will system votlage drop and cause system shutting down? Because the UVLO point for BQ24170 is 3.6V.

by using such a power path as previous post. SYS voltage is Vin when adapter is available (Q1/Q2 ON) and is Vbat (Q3 ON) when adapter is removed. When BQ24170 reaches UVLO, the Q3 is ON. The SYS voltage will be battery voltage minus Q3 drop. What's the system shut down voltage?
