WEBENCH® Tools/LMR33630: Junction temp

Team,

I have question in WEBENCH when simulate the LMR33630.

My condition is Vin = 12V-21V, Vout = 9V, Iout = 2A and I found that 2.1Mhz junction temp < 1.4MHz junction temp.

It's impossible that higher switching frequency cause lower IC junction temp. Could you help check the case?

Hello

I suppose that it is theoretically possible that with a different inductor resistance and/or ripple current

that the power loss would be greater at the lower frequency; but it is not likely.

And Webench should not design it that way.

I will move this post to our Webench team to investigate.
