BQ25155: JEITA operation by measuring battery temperature via ADCIN

Hello,

Our customer is planning to use 104 thermistor for measuring the battery temperature and control JEITA operation. Although temperature measurement via TS is able to JEITA control COLD/COOL/WARM/HOT, could you please help him if temperature measurement via ADCIN is able to do same JEITA control with TS measurement.

    Hello Toshiro-San,

    The ADCIN pin can measure the voltage on the thermistor. however, no action will be taken by the device with this information. You can use the 3 comparators on the device to send interrupts to the MCU whenever any threshold is crossed. The TS pin is the best option for full JEITA control.
