CCS/BQ40Z50-R1: BQ40Z50-R1 short problem

Part Number: BQ40Z50-R1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ40Z50

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

BQ40Z50-R1 short circuit in discharge voltage is 0.2V maximum when RSNS set 1, and negatinve resistance is 0.001 ohm. It's means the maximum detection current is 200A when short. So, if we have a big capcity battery, like 50Ah, when we test short, the current must bigger than 200A. now, what happens?

Can BQ40Z50-R1 detects a voltage greater than 0.2V and activates short circuit protection or not detect this voltage and do nothing?

In addition, BQ20Z95 short circuit voltage is  0.475V and BQ2095 has ASRP ASRN can do partial voltage when short circuit is bigger than 0.475V.

Why BQ40Z50-R1 short circuit voltage  is designed to be so small?
