bq27541 Dataflash

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: BQ27541, BQ27541-V200

Dear all:

I try to configure data flash, but the  DODaEOC Delta in Charge Terminaion and SOH Load I  in data are not mentioned in the data sheet of bq27541. I don't know how to set..

Another, the current in my application is about 2A (normal), but the pulse current is about 15A(pulse width = 50ms), and the sense resistor is 10mohm, will the over-voltage of pin SRN/SRP cause the IC-bq27541 fail? Should I use the sense resistors 5mohm?

Who can help me?

Best regards

Jason

DODatEOC DeltaT tells how many degrees Celsius the temperature can change before a re-calculation/re-simulation is run inside the gauge.  The default is 10, which means if the temperature drops from 25degC to 15degC, the FCC, RM, and SOC will be recalculated based on the new temperature.  Even if the temperature only dropped to 17degC, once a discharge started, the simulation would still be run anyway and you would probably see a SOC jump.  You might want to set DODatEOC DeltaT lower to 5, for example.

SOH Load I is the load current which the State of Health calculation will use as a reference.  If a new battery had 1000mAh of usable capacity at the SOHLoadI rate, and a certain battery currently has only 900mAh of usable capacity at the SOHLoadI rate, then the State of Health reported would be 90%.  You should set SOHLoadI to a typical current for your system to give a meaningful SOH report to the user.
