TPS2660: PowerPad connection

Hi,

Is PowerPad connected with any node of the die?

My customer tries to evaluate the customer's surge test on EVM and they replace an IC.

Then, it is hard to connect PowerPad with the board for them.

If PowerPad is not connected with the node of the die, I think that PowerPad connection is not affected the test result

    Hi Kuramochi,

    PowerPad must be connected to PCB plane for thermal relief and to support continuous load current.

    Internally PowerPad and RTN are connected through a die-attach material which provides impedance in the order of few ohms.
