Hi, there,
I have a question regarding the temperature of charging.
According to IEC/EN 62368 (M.4) Li battery charging current shall not exceed its limit stated in battery spec. under different temperature. See below:
Quite a lot batteries state that there charging current limit changes under different temperature. eg.
Yet BQ24232H only stop charging under 0 degree and over 50 degree. Why didn't TI set a default temperature for changing range at 0-45, instead of 0-50? Does TI think 50 degree charging is not an issue? And how TI solutions would support different charging current under different temperature? Assuming TI has provided solutions for customers with products following IEC62368, a little confusing if there wasn't any issue?
Thanks!
Sincerely,
Jinsong
