Can you share what part of the circuit customer need clamp diode for?
Can you also confirm that customer plan to use the EVM according to "Section 3 Electrical Performance Specifications"?

Thank you for your feedback. I have attached what he needs to know. The parts location he needs your suggestion is D1 clamp diode in the EVM document Figure 4.

We chose D1 based on (i) peak reverse voltage capability (ii) its low forward voltage drop (ii) peak forward current (iii) reverse breakdown voltage.
The main thing is to ensure the diode voltage ratings is sufficient higher than the operating bus voltage, if you noticed, this is EVM is rated for 75VDC and we chose diode voltage rating with sufficient margin to account for shifts across temperature, voltage, etc...
