Hello,

I'm developing a BMS with BQ40Z50-R2 as the fuel gauge, but the EV2400/EV2300 is too expensive to buy in my country (Brazil). Do they have alternatives for the PC interface, like the MSP430 evaluation kit or other microcontrollers, like Arduino or ESP32?

    Hello Maiky,

    There are other USB to I2C/SMBus interfaces you can use to communicate, but we always recommend using the EV2400 so you can use bqStudio to program and debug your BMS quicker.

    You won't be able to program the chemistry ID using ESP32 or Arduino, the initial setup needs to be done with the EV2400.
