TI Fuel gauge BQ40Z50 can support Android ? If answer is can not support , Could you help recommend what gauge IC is suitable for our Android Tablet PC application ?

Battery type : Li-ion ( 3 ~ 4 cells)

Vin voltage : DC 19V

OS : Android 9 / Android 10

Hi Chris,

BQ40z50 is suitable for most 1-4 cell application including android.

Do you have BZ40Z50 Android or Linux driver or sample code ?

One more question about the interface.

CPU host interface is I2C , can we use I2C software protocol to access BQ40Z50 ?

There's some gauge interface code online you can use.

It is not I2C, but SMBus.
