Dear TI Team

Our customer is considering BQ24040.

I would like to ask about BQ24040.

Is there a possibility that a failure mode may occur in which the voltage of the IN pin is output to the OUT pin as it is due to a short circuit of the IN pin or OUT pin of the BQ24040?
(For example, assume a failure mode in which the two internal FETs of BQ24040 in the figure below are turned on due to a failure.)
