On our design we have 2 input not connected, PRES/SHDN and DISP.
It is recommended by the technical documentation, in order to protect the component against ESD, to install on the PRES input (8.2.2.2.3) :
• At least one resistance (R29) ; • At most one resistance and one Zener diode (R29 and D4) ;
Furthermore, regarding the DISP input, knowing that we are not using the LEDCNTL outputs, should we connect this input to Vss (8.2.2.3.5) ?
To recap, what are the risks to the component if we leave these two input floating.
