BQ40Z80: About background of change from 7S to 6S

Hi,

BQ40Z80 changed from 7-cell to 6-cell in datasheet RevB.
Could you tell me the background and reason for this?
Customers were considering this device at the time of RevA.
And customer was considering 7-cell compatible product, so I would like to know the reason.

Hi Yusuke,

This is because we observed watchdog reset issues. Also, the 7th cell is measured externally using resistor divider and GPIO pins, unlike cells 1-6 which are measured internally. Therefore decision was made to remove 7S. Please connect with me offline for further discussion.
