Hi,

We have an application where we need to have a DC-DC converter between 60V +/- 1% output Adapter and Battery. The DC-DC converter must be able to charge the battery in buck-boost mode. Battery voltage is 60V and max charging current is 6A, so buck-boost converter is required. Is LM5170 suitable for this application of battery charging? are there any other options?

    Hi Urmi,

    Thank you for reaching out.  The LM5170 can be used to support this buck-boost operation.  We have a ref design which was designed for 12V to 12V applications but the same concept can be used to modify this ref design to support your 60V applications.
