TPS2663: What is the difference between TPS26633 and TPS26636

Hello,

as far as I can tell from the datasheet, the TPS26633 and the TPS26636 are identical, at least in the HTSSOP variant. Is there a difference I am missing?

There should be some difference in the Overvoltage clamp level between those two devices. Let me check with the team and get back to you.

Hi Felix,

The difference is in the Overvoltage clamp level.

TPS26633 clamps to fixed 35V where as TPS26636 clamps to fixed 39V. It needs to be updated in the datasheet. I will take action in the next datasheet revision.

In that case, what is the difference between the TPS26635 and the TPS26636 then? Is it just the package options?

It's a bit confusing, because the -3 is available in both VQFN and HTSSOP, while the -5 is VQFN only, and the -6 is HTSSOP only.
