TLV62065-Q1: VREF(FB) accuracy for the whole temperature range in PFM mode

HI Team,

My customer is requesting the whole temperature range(-40-125C) PFM mode VREF accuracy? In our datasheet it only spec a 1% typical value for room temperature.

For PWM mode, the accuracy is +-2% max and min, 0% typical.

Does that mean the VREF is 0% error when in room temperature? How to understand this?

Hello Ted,

At PFM mode, the output setup point is 1% above the nominal output voltage, so the VFB(PFM) accuracy is +1% at typical condition. Because the Vout accuracy is a function of set point tolerance and ripple (inductor and output capacitor dependency), it is complex process to determine the VFB accuracy @ PFM. I suggest that we discuss this matter internally. I will send a message via company's email.
