I see this question was posed about five months ago as well. Basically the same question, are there any new/soon to be available versions of this IC with OCC thresholds significantly lower than the OCD threshold?
Similar specification on the cell currents, where 3-6 A is acceptable on charging current and 30-40 A is acceptable on discharge currents.There is a bit of leeway on these values based on what current shunts are available and the exact cells used.
One of the current versions, BQ7791500 with the 60 mV OCD is fine, but the OCC would preferably be around 6-10 mV. There is presumably a limit to what the BMS IC can accurately measure, so i don't know how low this threshold can go.
