Hi expert,

Normally, there are gates pulse on both sides.(fig.2)

If you perform overload operation, the gate on one side will not come out.(fig.3)

Once in this state, the other gate pulse will not be output until the IC power supply voltage is exhausted.

If the power supply voltage of the IC is exhausted and then the power is turned on again, the normal operation will be performed.

Adding RC filter on VD1/VD2 is helpful to this issue, could you try 1k+1000pF on VD1/VD2 pin? Below diagram shows how to adding the RC filter.

The 1kΩ and 1000pF filters are too big, so I added 100pF.

When a capacitor was attached, there was a symptom that the gate pulse did not come out from the start.

When I attached a capacitor to VDS1, it did not start normally.

Even if I attached a capacitor to VDS2, it started normally.

In what mode of operation does only SR2 stop?

By the way, at 1000pF, the detection was delayed during the transient, and there was a problem that the through current flowed.
