Hello expert,

My customer has below request as below condition. May we know if there is any suitable solution could share with them? Thanks a lot!

1.      LDO

2.     3V to "1.8V~ 2.4V"  IOUT= 3A max.

3.      SINK and source capability

4.      Feedback Return pin (FB-)

    Hi Ann,

    Most positive LDO's only have the ability to source current. They do not normally have the ability to sink current. If Vout happens to be higher than the intended regulation voltage, the LDO simply stops sourcing current to the load.

    In terms of 3A LDOs - you could look at TPS7A53, or TPS7A84A as good low-noise adjustable-output solutions.
